While some guests mention a lack of dog-friendly amenities and welcome packs, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many looking forward to returning.

The property is generally described as clean, with one review specifically noting it as 'very clean'. However, one guest mentioned stains on curtains, carpets, and walls, which slightly impacts the overall cleanliness perception.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty, quietness, and stunning views, making it a perfect setting for relaxation and scenic walks. The proximity to great restaurants adds to the appeal.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the home spacious. However, the restrictions on where dogs are allowed may affect the comfort level for pet owners.

There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance. While the property is described as well-equipped, specific details on facilities are not provided in the reviews.

Guests have mixed feelings about the thoughtfulness of the amenities provided. While some guests missed a welcome pack and suggested improvements for dog owners, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Waingap was in beautiful surroundings and amazing views, if you want to get away from it all and have total peace and quiet this is the place for you. The cottage on the whole is lovely with comfy beds. But there are quite a lot of stains on the curtains, and hessian style carpet and on the walls. I would however, not call it dog friendly. There was nothing there to say dogs are welcome. No beds or dog bowls. Upon arrival there is a notice on the window in the porch stating, dogs were not allowed in bedrooms or up the stairs, this was a surprise as nothing was stated on the write up on cottages.com. With the living room is up the stairs it meant dogs were only allowed on the tiled ground floor. We were shocked and would have never booked the cottage if we knew beforehand. When you are paying £120 for your dogs on top of the price of the cottage you would expect the dogs to be allowed around the home. I feel a bin out in the garden to put poo bags would be beneficial, there were no dustbin outside. In all cottages we have stayed in before we have always recieved a welcome pack, whether it was milk bags and biscuits, and treats for dogs. However here there was nothing.
