Nestled away in a quiet corner of Grasmere, you will enjoy the comfortable accommodation this charming cottage has to offer, with exposed timber beams and beautiful décor. The River Rothay meanders nearby and you are surrounded by stunning scenery – where better to be placed?
The cottage adjoins another similar property, and enjoys the benefit of your own parking space. Leave the car behind and head off with plentiful walks and fells right on the doorstep, yet just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’. If you prefer to stay in, the secluded courtyard seating area is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the warmer evenings. Why not visit some of the many places that inspired Beatrix Potter, or for a more relaxing day out, take a trip on the nearby Windermere cruises, just remember to bring your camera. Beach 29 miles. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 200 yards.

Lovely cottage very well positioned for Grasmere, just a short stroll away. Great to have parking. Walks aplenty from the door. Thank you for the welcome treats. We would definitely stay again. Only thing that I would suggest is the oven needs a deep clean and there is a slight slope/change of level on the landing, which may catch people out, so its just to be mindful that its there. Other than that it was perfect.

This was our seventh stay, we are booked to come back in September 2026 and April 2027.It's an ideal quiet location, on the edge of the village and away from the all the crowds yet only five minutes walking distance. Plenty of local walks for all abilities including dogs.

We love this cottage! The perfect location and so well equipped for a comfortable stay. Set in the heart of Grasmere with so many walks from the doorstep (we didn’t use the car all week) as well as numerous cafes/pubs and restaurants, all within a short stroll. Parking is a huge bonus too! We have stayed here numerous times and will be back again for sure.
