The carpeted staircase with contemporary glass balustrade takes you up into this elegant first-floor apartment, which can also be accessed via its own separate entrance. Relax on the comfy corner sofa in the living room after a busy day exploring, and be inspired by the guide books provided to go on and discover more. The kitchen/dining room provides everything that you would need to prepare a wonderful meal should you choose to stay in, although you are spoilt for choice with the number of different restaurants and cafés right on your doorstep. After a good night’s rest in the kingsize bed and a refreshing shower, you will be ready to start a whole new day.
Little Nook is situated just a short level walk away from the popular tourist town of Ambleside’s amenities, including an abundance of shops, cafés and restaurants. Well-served by public transport, it is the ideal place to park up and explore the surrounding area stress-free. There are plenty of places to visit right on your doorstep such as the National Trust’s famous 17th-century Bridge House. It is just a short walk to Stock Ghyll Force from the centre of town, or head further afield to discover the beautiful Grasmere village, once home to William Wordsworth. Why not catch one of the Windermere Lake Cruises from the nearby Waterhead Terminal on Ambleside Pier, and enjoy a relaxing trip whilst taking in stunning views of the scenery surrounding Lake Windermere? The area provides excellent opportunities for activities such as walking and climbing – don’t forget your camera! Shop and restaurant ¼ mile, pub 350 yards.

Really enjoyed my stay here. It's a great apartment for 1-2 people. I found it comfortable (bed was great, shower was hot with fantastic water pressure) and it was lovely place to come back to relax after a day's hiking. The location was super convenient - you can be in Ambleside centre in a few minutes. Not a criticism at all, but a note for other coffee lovers..the apartment doesn't have a cafetiere or coffee machine. But you can buy a great coffee down the road at Book Brewery or Altitude café.

A perfect cosy property in an excellent location. Little Nook is close to Ambleside centre with plenty of places to eat. Also some lovely walks within easy reach. The car parking space is an added bonus and means you can walk or use public transport to avoid the necessity of searching for parking spaces.

Very good location, only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ambleside and all the great amenities there. Perfect location for exploring the immediate surrounding areas without having to use the car (e.g. Loughrigg, Rydal Hall / Rydal Water / Grasmere, Wansfell and Wansfell Pike).We really liked the apartment, small but perfectly formed for our needs !
