This delightful and spacious holiday apartment has lovely views overlooking Windermere to the fells beyond. Formerly part of a Victorian gentleman’s residence, it is situated in a prime residential area known as Heathwaite, which is on the edge of Windermere village. Furnished and fitted in a contemporary style, to a very good standard, the property offers all the comforts of home. It has its own private entrance up a short flight of slate steps. The location is superb, 10 minutes walk down to Windermere centre and 20 minutes walk to the lake at Bowness where you can enjoy a boat trip. Take one of the many country walks from the doorstep or explore central Lakeland by car. Shop 300 yards, pubs and restaurants 1/2 mile.

Spacious and clean apartment with a wonderful view over Windermere. One main bathroom with large bath and in-tub shower.I'd have appreciated a grab handle on the wall for getting in and out of the bath as I have had a hip replacement - just to feel a bit safer. The kitchen is modern, with comprehensive equipment. No food or drink freebies, which is fine, so best visit the supermarket (Booths is best) before you get there.Spacious and comfortable living area and efficient heating and hot water.Overall, we loved it and would definitely come again.

Brilliant little place, a great base for an active break. Handy to have a washing machine and the shower was so great to warm up afterwards! Good self catering amenities that made a easy dinner in possible after a day out in the hills. Easy walk into Windermere and bowness also. Convenient parking for car. Little things like the DVD player not working just let it down slightly. And there being slight marks on the duvet, however it all seemed very clean. Second time staying here, overall very happy with the stay!
