Refurbished to a very good standard Oaks Retreat is a spacious and stylish apartment all on one level, offering excellent facilities for a self catering break. The thoughtful owners who live adjacent have provided a lovely bed and mattress dressed with quality duvet and linens to ensure a restful nights sleep and a shower room with power shower to sooth those aching limbs. The sumptuous leather sofa offers the chance to snuggle up and take in a film or catch up on the soaps whilst the covered patio area will enable you to holiday outdoors when our typical Lakeland weather will allow!

Excellent position above the town centre of Ambleside. Friendly hosts who lived above the apartment.The apartment was well equipped. Lots of storage space in the bedroom. Large sized fridge was very useful, but it did make some strange noises at times.However, we found the leather sofa too slouchy for our aging backs.
