Absolutely loved our stay at High White Stones. A real home from home. We both immediately relaxed the minute we walked through the door into this cosy accommodation. We found the location to be ideal. V close to Ambleside centre and all its amenities only couple mins walk. It is at the top of a fairly steep but short hill which we didn’t find to be a problem. We didn’t use the car for a week as there are so many fantastic walks and hills on your doorstep. It’s such a pretty part of the world. Would definitely love to return to High White Stones!

We enjoyed our stay at High White Stones cottage. It was a comfortable home away from home. It was a quick walk to shops, restaurants and local grocery stores and to parking. The parking permit provided was also valid at other parking lots in other close by towns.
