The Old Coach House was perfect for a week in Grasmere - clean and very well equipped and in a lovely elevated position, away from the hustle and bustle of the village, but close enough to stroll in for a mooch around. There are great walks straight from the door. We treated ourselves to an unforgettable gourmet meal at the The Forest Side. We would not hesitate to recommend The Old Coach House.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Old Coach House, everything you need is at the accommodation, excellent location with a short walk into the beautiful Grasmere Village, where you can enjoy lovely walks, a nice coffee or a wander around the shops there’s plenty to do and see. We had taken our puppy to the lakes for her visit which was lovely, I had in fact left her feeding bowl at The Old Coach House and Chris the owner kindly contacted me and has since returned this to us which was very kind of him. I’m sure anyone staying at this accommodation will enjoy it just as much as we did.
