A lovely site and lodge was fantastic. Loads of space and really clean and comfortable. Only downsides and suggestions were:- not enough crockery for 4 or more people, definitely couldn't leave washing up and use the dishwasher; a properly fitted duvet cover instead of these open ended ones would be much better ; really poor signal to TV We still had a great stay. Thanks
Robin
Stayed in various lodges on this site but not been for a couple of years and unfortunately the lodges are starting to look tired. The main issue is All rooms were in need of a repaint and internal doors need a restain to restore the wood colour back. Had a few maintenance issues all reported on check out which hopefully they have resolved for the next guest. (Kitchen extractor not working, bathroom extractor not working, heating kept tripping out daily and needed to be repressured and a leaking radiator)Great location if you want some where quite and out the way, lodge well equipped and the dog pack provided was a nice touch albeit we did have to pay additional for the dog so I guess we paid for the pack.
