This beautiful cottage is located in the tranquil hamlet of Catterlen only 3 miles North of the market town of Penrith and less than a 10 minute drive from Ullswater the 2nd largest Lake in the Lake District. Set all on the ground floor, this tastefully converted sandstone cottage, originally a cow byre, offers couples a modern and luxurious getaway perfect for a romantic retreat. The property is located on the owner's land . Why not take a trip to the cinema or take in a show at the theatre? The quaint town of Keswick is only a 25-minute drive away. Keswick is a great centre point for exploring the North Lakes and has a variety of museums to visit, or you can enjoy a boat trip on Lake Derwentwater. It is situated within easy reach of lots of different places of interest and well worth a visit to The Sun Inn for food which was delicious and staff lovely to talk to.

The cottage has everything you need,spotlessly clean. The food at the pub ( Sun Inn) that was recommended by Phil,was excellent and great value for money.
