Guests say

Greystoke Premier 3 receives high praise for its spacious, well-equipped lodges, stunning rural views, and peaceful atmosphere. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and the bonus of hot tubs. The location is ideal for those seeking tranquillity, though amenities require a short drive. Some minor maintenance issues and occasional appliance faults were noted, but staff are responsive and helpful. The site is dog-friendly, though direct walking routes are limited. Overall, guests enjoy a relaxing and memorable stay, with many keen to return and recommend to others.

Most guests found the lodges to be very clean and well maintained, even in dog-friendly units. A few mentioned minor issues such as mould or the need for high-level dusting, but these were exceptions rather than the rule.

The rural setting and beautiful views are frequently highlighted as positives, offering a peaceful retreat. However, the remote location means shops and amenities are a drive away, and direct walking routes from the site are limited.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious interiors, and relaxing environments. The lodges are well suited for groups and families, with ample seating and thoughtful layouts.

Facilities such as hot tubs, kitchens, and bathrooms are generally appreciated, but some guests experienced issues with appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, hot tub jets) and minor maintenance needs. Staff are responsive to problems.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

The location and potential is amazing, however unfortunately my review is downgraded due to the state of the lodge itself. We had booked a lodge that accommodates dogs, so were not expecting perfection, however we still encountered the following issues: 1. The dishwasher didn't work well. After twice trying to use it, using two different full cycles for each wash, the contents were still not clean. We ended up washing by hand. The other issue was that every time we opened the dishwasher fully, the kick board below came off. Not a deal breaker, but annoying when you've 5 of you and a busy schedule. 2. The washing machine didn't properly work properly. The first time we used it, we put it on a mixed load cycle at 7pm, expecting to hang out to dry over night however the machine was still going when we went to bed. In the morning it still hadn't stopped. We had to manually stop it and ended up using the quick cycle, and then spin and dry (twice). Again, not deal breakers, but annoying. 3. The Hot tub was huge, good temperature and clean, however only half the jets worked. With five adults and a 15 year old (adult sized), we all had to argue over who got the jets. 4. Shower in en suite - huge crack in the base of the shower, and the shower door handle missing. We are quite adaptable people and all the above are all easy to adapt to, however when you pay for 5 star, you do hope to have it. I would have put it down as 3-4 stars, definitely not 5 or premium. As I put in the start, since we booked accommodation that allows pets, you do expect some wear and tear caused from our four legged friends, but all the above issues could not be included in this caveat. The wifi isn't brilliant but it is there, although do expect to walk around to the top of the park to catch it. This wasn't an issue for me, but was for my three kids (aged 15, 18 and 20) who wanted to "chill" on their phones in the lounge or in the bedrooms after a busy day of activities, and couldn't. So yes I'd recommend the place, but don't expect premium. We do hope to return but will not be booking a pet friendly lodge.
