Guests say

Guests have consistently praised the cottage's lovely, remote location, ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The property is comfortable, offering a cosy interior that feels larger than expected, with plenty of hot water. Its proximity to Ambleside, Grasmere, and Keswick makes it a good base for exploring. The scenic drives and surrounding nature add to the charm, though guests should come prepared with supplies.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its remoteness and tranquillity, with easy access to the Lakes and high fells. Its proximity to notable towns is appreciated, despite the challenging narrow roads.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, noting it seems much bigger on the inside and provides a good level of comfort with plenty of hot water.

The cottage is well-liked for its amenities, though the absence of a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi is noted. The lack of kitchen basics and a welcome pack suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While guests would appreciate a welcome pack and some basic supplies, there is no mention of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness, and guests should note that gifts are not guaranteed.
