The vista is stunning and that is all I can say is good. The ‘lodge’ is more like a converted garage that hasn’t been updated since the early 80s. Tired and dated. Smells of damp. Way, way too expensive for what it is! There are 2 large garages that need clearing out that are constantly open and spoil the views that, let’s face it, are its only selling point. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

Great views from apartment. Lovely to be able to have use of the garden which leads down to lake. Comfy cozy clean apartment. Patricia was a lovely Hostess. Would love to go back again. Would be nice to have Rampsbeck lodge sign hanging on the post, instead of on the house. As difficult to spot from road side.

The location was beautiful but the property needs updating. Owner was friendly and the view from the property was stunning. Easy to drive to straight off the M6. The local pub was close enough but the road very windy so not comfortable walking to it.
