Absolute fantastic cottage in a lovely village. The cottage was very well equipped, having everything you need. It was very fresh and lovely decorated with beautiful gardens to the rear and the front with a lovely sun lounge you had full use of. The owner Elizabeth was very welcoming showing us how everything works and on hand to answer any questions. The cottage is in a perfect location for seeing the area with Ullswater lake not far. Pooley bridge was lovely as was Keswick. Penrith only a couple miles away and has a parkrun on Saturday morning if that's your thing. Lovely welcoming local pub , the kings arms for drinks and food literally 2 minutes walk from the cottage. Also a hotel for food and drink even closer and a small village shop . Happy to highly recommend and look forward to returning.

An absolutely idyllic getaway! We stayed for a week and it was perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and had everything we needed—including a very well-equipped kitchen. Our host was wonderful, always making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is tranquil, offering stunning views and easy access to walking paths. We felt immediately at home and will definitely be returning

A lovely place to stay with everything you need handy. Very cosy cottage and summerhouse wow!!! Elizabeth is a great host and really made us feel welcome. We will return. The area is I think the best in the Lake District and I like to go to a place where you can walk from your door without driving. Never in 35 years of going to the Lakes have we seen so much water. It rained most of the week but we still found things to do. Visit jersey cow ice creams just off A6 you will want to go back for more just like this lovely cottage.
