The Burrow in Ulverston is a stunning and cosy cottage, praised for its cleanliness, peacefulness, and suitability for relaxing holidays. It offers a secure garden for dogs and is well-located for exploring nearby areas. Some guests noted the convenience of a log burner and safety gate for pets. However, there were concerns about steep steps and parking, which was not as private as advertised.
Guests consistently described the cottage as very clean upon arrival, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its peace and quiet, with nice walks and proximity to exploring nearby areas, though a car is needed for further travel.
The cottage is often referred to as cosy and warm, suggesting a high level of comfort for guests.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a log burner and safety gate for pets being highlights. However, concerns about steep steps and parking issues slightly lower the score.
While the reviews reflect a thoughtful setup, such as the provision of a safety gate for pets, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to score this category.

An excellent cottage stay, to relax and unwind. Perfect quiet location and ideal with the paddock for your four legged friends. Bonus, cosy up in front of the log burner. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cosy warm cottage with everything you need. Very clean on arrival. Dogs not allowed upstairs but there’s a safety gate you can put on the stairs which is a great idea for not so obedient dogs!!
