The Burrow in Ulverston is a stunning, well-presented cottage praised for its cleanliness and peacefulness. Guests enjoyed the proximity to Windermere and other attractions, though some noted the steps to the kitchen could be challenging. The enclosed garden was appreciated by dog owners, but the parking situation was a concern for some. Overall, the cottage offers a relaxing holiday experience with a few considerations for future guests.
Guests consistently described the cottage as clean and well-presented, indicating high standards of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, though a car is needed for further exploration.
The cottage is generally found to be comfortable, but the mention of steep steps to the kitchen suggests some concerns for those with mobility issues.
Facilities are mostly adequate, but feedback on cutlery and the need for a mirror in the single bedroom indicates room for improvement. Parking issues were also a notable concern.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Nice clean little cottage, well presented and decorated, my only concern was the steep steps down to kitchen for us older folks! but don't let that put you off!

Cottages lovely, even though I have mobility issues the steps were inconvenient rather than a problem. I have visited many cottages over the years, and I found that 4 odd mugs and small cutlery unusual, also a small mirror in the single bedroom would be useful.
