This nest was a huge disappointment. The place was filthy .The furniture broken . The shutters broken.Leaks in the house . Not enough plates for the number of guests .Windows didn’t close properly.Windows broken . All signage had worn off cooked , so couldn’t be used .

The place and surroundings are nice.The idea of the house is lovely. Spacious, and nice colours, four bedrooms. Near the pub for drinks and food. Near Windermere Lake.The bad thing about it all is that the cottage is dirty and bad maintained. We had to hoover the whole house uppn arrival: Stairs were dirty with sands, dead flies and spiders all over the house, in the beds, in the showers, in the baths. The cutlery, plates, pans and kitchenware and the fridge were sticky. The diswasher baskets are broken. They have us a “new” which had holes in at as well.The most horrible is as well that it does not make any sense to the ladies at the front desk or the Guest manager. They were to stupid to act adequate at all this. It seemed it did not matter them at all and that makes me very sas. They offertedus free drinks but that was not the thing. We have paid to stay in an nice house for our holiday, but it was dirty and not working and the hotel did not really efforts to make it happen for us, the guests. Really sorry for the nice house and place. And for our feeling of being welcome as a guest.

A lovely family get together. A few chipped cups and lack of plates. Enough for us all but none for serving food on. Bed rooms extremely warm but 3 fans provided obviously couldn't leave on all night. Could do with some blinds in kitchen area. Also some of the windows didn't open sufficiently. Saying this we would stay again. Great play area for the kids and pool was brilliant.
