This charming property is found just off the main street in Windermere itself and is ideal for guests wanting to place themselves within the town’s popular amenities. A short stroll to the pretty town centre finds a selection of restaurants, cafés and shops with something for everyone.
Windermere offers an ideal base from which to explore the Lakes. How you do this is entirely up to you! Trains run regularly from the local station, just a short walk away. The much loved Lake Windermere steamers depart from nearby Bowness, another hugely popular Lakeland town. Walkers of all abilities will enjoy easy access to fabulous routes literally from your doorstep. It’s not just the great location of this holiday home that guests will find a bonus. We loved our stay at this cottage! The place was cozy, clean, and felt very safe throughout our entire stay. The location is perfect close to everything we needed and very convenient for getting around. Tim was amazing and so helpful, always quick to respond and made us feel very welcome!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! It was a short walk from the main street with cafes and supermarkets. I would definitely recommend to anyone whos looking to stay in Windermere!

Great location. Lovely house. Vendors need to sort bathroom which is a flooding nightmare. Also unlock the plates in the locked cabinet which shouldn't be in with cleaning products. No bathmat. Need to provide more towels for guests staying more than two nights. Also, not my job to strip the bed.
