A day out could include a leisurely stroll through the surrounding hills with excellent viewpoints, or perhaps a visit to the towns of Windermere or Bowness, with their delightful shops, cafés and local boutiques. Super Een schitterende locatie midden in de natuur op 5 minuten rijden van het drukke centrum van Windermere. Buiten hoor je alleen natuurgeluiden, wij hebben 16 verschillende vogels gespot maar er zijn er ongetwijfeld meer. Herten lopen door de tuin en ook eekhoorns. Prachtige wandelingen zijn er te maken en houd je van drukte dan ben je zo in het drukke centrum waar genoeg winkels en horeca en vele activiteiten zijn. Kleine tip voor de eigenaar: de koekepan is aan vervanging toe en mischien een topper op de matrasen.

The flat is lovely and more spacious than the photos suggest. It's also located in a lovely, quiet area, very close to Windermere. Locating the house for the first time is difficult, despite the written instructions, especially after sunset. Google Maps also misindentifies the location. Communication with the property agents was slow.

The property was well set up for our family of 4. They had put up Christmas decorations and left a few Christmas goodies which was a nice touch. Clean and tidy, well equipped and with a great log burner. The location was ideal - near to windermere but not busy. Nice walks direct from the place and great views too.
