Set in a quiet location, but only a very short walk from the centre of Bowness with shops, pubs and eating places to suit all tastes. Hire a rowing boat or a tennis court, try pitch-and-putt golf, or take a trip on a lake steamer. Or if you want to go further afield, the mountains and fells are only a short drive away.
As you walk into Bowness Oaks, you are greeted by the entrance hall that has cupboards and hanging space. From here you can go through to the open plan living space where there are big comfortable sofas. The apartment will be warm and welcoming when you return, with efficient electric heating, piping hot water and comfortable, high quality furnishings chosen with care by the owners. There are two bedroom with with fitted wardrobes, so plenty of storage for all you belongings. This is four star luxury you can afford. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

This was a wonderful place to spend Christmas. The apartment is comfortable, cosy and very well-equipped. It is a very short walk to the shops and lake and there are several excellent restaurants and pubs.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat is well equipped and homely, lovely view and parking right outside. They had even put up some Christmas decorations which is a lovely touch. Hope to visit again.

Stayed here many times. Just as good as ever but the hill up to the flat seems to get bigger the older I get! Sure to return in the future.
