Nice cottage, quiet location yet a enjoyable half mile walk to bowness. Cooking utensils, oven and baking trays a bit grubby, obviously from previous occupants. The dinning chairs could do with covering as someone seems to be peeling off the "skins" of the seats !All in all a good week with the grand kids. Handy parking spot at the back of cottage, as the other spaces seem to fill up quickly.Would recommend

Great little semi detached house for a trip to the lakes in a small community of houses. Most appear to be holiday lets. Plenty of parking. Kitchen fully functioning and nice living room for four people. Third bedroom is a three quarter child’s bed. Garden is communal and out the front and as house is on the end of a row feels like someone else’s grass space but it’s shared. 20 min walk to Bowness promenade along the road south just down from ferry or a cheap uber taxi drive away. To the promenade was £4 -£6 each way depending on driver and available in minutes. Only observation is that the internet connection and speed is shocking. Keeps dropping out and at best was 11mbps. Surely that’s resolvable with some investment. We would stay again.
