Lovely apartment in great location, very clean and tidy , plenty of wine glasses and 1 pint beer mugs but no tumblers or small glasses! Also distinct lack of everyday saucepans. And unfortunately the kitchen table was unusable due to lack of space. But overall we were happy with the apartment and would stay there again.

The location of the flat is excellent. You can walk to all the best attractions in Bowness. The apartment is a good size and comfortable, with a decently equipped kitchen and good WiFi. However, the property is in need of a deep, deep clean. To give one example, there is thick black mould around the on off button of the shower in the cellar (yes, the second bathroom is in a cellar and isn't an ensuite or such as the pictures might lead you to think). The flat also suffers from condensation and a minor smell of damp because - as the arrival handbook explains - the property has poor ventilation so needs windows opening regularly to avoid damp. Also, the floors of the apartment above must be wooden and or paper thin as you hear loud banging and noise every time anyone moves up there. Overall, if this property had a proper clean it'd be really highly recommended - otherwise it's benefits are somewhat undermined.

Great position in a really busy tourist location, central to the south lake’s thoroughfares given the weekend when we stayed leave early for sightseeing. Residence was a lot grander than we thought, booking in very easy with comprehensive instructions. Although only 2 of us it can easily accommodate families. Very clean lots of normal home comforts dishwasher, washing machine etc. 11 out 10. Thank you
