The property is very clean and newly refurbished to a high level. We had to add payment for towels and linen - although the towels were small and basically hand towels. Our main issue was that we visited in January and the heating times were controlled by Pam. We were up later and rose earlier than the set hours which meant that we were cold. By the third day, Pam reset the heating times, which was greatly appreciated, but prior to that, we suffered from the cold.

A beautiful cosy home from home, well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home is very well maintained and very clean, it is clear that the owner, Pam, takes a lot of pride in looking after it. Usually when we stay self catering I feel I need to give it a good clean before using anything, but there was absolutely no need, it was so clean. The location is great, half hour walk into Windermere and the lake and 30-60 minutes drive from other areas. We did alot of walking around the lakes and in the mountains, and were out every day over the “twixtmas” period which stopped us eating too much cheese and chocolate and living in a haze of confusion! We had a fantastic week!

Lovely stay at the Coaches for my boyfriends birthday getaway.. good base for the surrounding walks Pam was easily contactable and made sure you had everything you needed! Very friendly and welcoming Pam also let us know what to bring (what the accommodation didnt provide) which was handy ️
