From Aylsham, the Bure Valley Railway runs through the countryside to Wroxham (10 miles). Known as the Capital of the Broads, Wroxham is home to the popular Wroxham Barns and makes a fantastic gateway to the Norfolk Broads. Other local highlights include the magnificent National Trust estate at Blickling (3.5 miles) with its majestic Jacobean country house and enchanting formal gardens. For a day by the seaside, the peaceful beach at Happisburgh is to the east (13 miles), or you can head to the vibrant Victorian-era resort of Cromer to the north (12 miles).

Private parking is available for three cars.
