We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing May bank holiday weekend at Reeds View, and would recommend anyone thinking of booking to give it a try! We have been visiting the Norfolk Broads at least twice a year for over 10 years now (on boats and in cottages) but have never been to St Olaves. It's a lovely little spot on the River and has a great pub for boat and people watching within a five minute walk of the accomodation. There are boats passing Reeds View and using the nearby moorings, and plenty of wildlife to sit and watch. It's also great for travelling further afield. We visiited Diss and Bungay for the first time, and also took in three of our favourite places on the Southern Broads - Beccles, Reedham (The Ship Inn food is really lovely), and the lovely Ferry House pub on the river at Surlingham (which is our favourite on the whole of the broads!). Reeds View was spotlessly clean, and the design and build is excellent. The space was really thought out well, with everything you need for cooking etc. + a great sized fridge, storage for clothes, and the shower was piping hot and water flow was also great. And if you need to be connected to the outside world, no problem the WiFi was great too. The weather was hot all weekend and there are two different styles of chairs for siting outside on the deck, and also a parasol if you prefer the shade. Lizzie was really great and had thought about pretty much everything, and still made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived! She also provides dressing gowns and slippers for each guest, and the welcome pack is really great and included bread, butter, eggs, milk, cereals and plenty of tea, coffee and sugar to get you started, and a couple of sweet treats too! We will definitely be booking again in the future and look forward to seeing you again soon Lizzie x

We had a fabulous stay at reed view and the hosts were incredible, nothing was ever too much trouble for them and we even had a little welcome package in the hut which was a lovely surprise! There were beautiful views of the marina, the broads and a couple of great places nearby for food. It was a lovely stay and would certainly come back but you are placed in part of a boat yard and are required to lock the gate upon entering and exit which can be a little tricky at times. I feel that this should be made clearer in the listing but it certainly doesn't detract from this fab little gem! Perfect for a few nights peaceful break x
