Perfect enough for families celebrating a special birthday or anniversary, or for a stylish get-away. Located within its own landscaped garden at the edge of the village, this spacious and commanding detached house offers fine countryside views. The gorgeous indoor heated swimming pool, with Roman steps leading into the water, is integrated into the house and is exclusively for Cherry Ridge guests. There is also a games area in the Cart Barn with a table tennis table and table football, sure to keep all the family entertained! The owner also thoughtfully provides bathrobes.
Great Bircham itself has a village shop, post office, pub, playing field and a windmill (open April until end of September) with a bakery, tea room and goats and sheep to feed and pet. Climb to the top for a fantastic view.
Lying just 8 miles away, the beautiful Norfolk coastline provides plenty of cycle routes and coastal walks, with superb bird watching to be experienced at the rspb Titchwell Marsh. The lively seaside town of Hunstanton has lots of traditional attractions with long stretches of sandy beaches and rock pools, along with a Sea Life Centre, shops, inns, restaurants and excellent sports facilities including bowls, tennis, golf and watersports, making it a popular venue with families. The neighbouring resort of Heacham, home to Norfolk Lavender, has uncrowded sandy beaches where a day by the sea can be spent with a picnic. For the more adventurous, sea fishing and boat trips can be arranged to Scolt Head Island nature reserve, where you can spot the seal colonies. Couples holidaying together or families with children will be well catered for as there is something that would appeal to all tastes and ages.
At Brancaster, 8 miles away, a large beach, excellent for sailing and windsurfing, together with world-class golf, is ideal for keeping all the family entertained. The historic towns of Kings Lynn, Fakenham and Holt lie within easy reach and provide a selection of shops, theatres, inns and restaurants. Stately homes in the area include Sandringham Estate (grounds open all year round, house open to the public when the Royal Family is not in residence), Holkham and Houghton Halls and the historical ruins of Castle Acre and Priory. Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

We stayed at Cherry Ridge for a week between Christmas and the New Year. Everything about our experience was fantastic. There were 6 adults and 4 children who all enjoyed the facilities in particularly the pool which was nice and warm. Our time there was faultless and would defiantly recommend this property to everyone. The Ladies also enjoyed a visit to the Spa at Ffolkes (6 Miles away) which was also a very enjoyable experience

A fantastic house so perfect for a family celebration! Spotlessly clean with every possible thing you could need.. Mathew our house manager was wonderfully efficient. He was readily available to answer any of our queries.Our whole experience at Cherry Lodge was a total joy, we made some great memories and will definitely be back.
