Just a two minute walk to the sandy beach at Old Hunstanton, Ongar Lodge is a stunning conversion of an iconic 1960’s building, with great views of the sea and golf course from the panoramic balcony. This hideaway provides contemporary and light accommodation over two floors with a stylish kitchen and delightful bathrooms.
The ground floor of Ongar Lodge comprises of a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, three of the four bedrooms, and a shower room. Well-equipped with a contemporary dining table, the kitchen/ dining area enjoys garden delightful views. Bedroom two offers twin beds, with children's bunk beds offered in bedroom three and and four. These rooms are served by a stylish shower room making this home particularly appealing for multi-generational families.
Upstairs, the dual aspect wonderfully sunny sitting room is the heart of the house, and enjoys incredible views of the changing skies and vivid sunsets over the wash. Also on this floor, the master bedroom hosts a king-size bed and benefits from the same stunning views from the balcony. An luxuriously appointed, full tiled en-suite bathroom completes this floor.
Outside, there is a lovely big private garden featuring the 'Zen Den' with table football, big sofas and a television creating a great base for a seaside family holiday in stylish surroundings. There is off-road parking for several cars to the front of the property.
The soft golden sand beach of Old Hunstanton is a mere two minute walk away from this unique hideaway. Fuel up with an excellent breakfast from the dog-friendly Old Town Beach Cafe and stomp all the way along the beach to Hunstanton, Heacham and Snettisham in one direction, or Holme-next-the-Sea and Thornham in the other. Hunstanton Golf Club is also just minutes away.

Well, what an amazing property with everything provided to get you started in the kitchen & bathrooms. Loved the design of the house, the garden is a decent size & kept in a beautiful condition. The Zen Den is a marvellous addition if you have children. The footpath to the sea is just the other side of the house next door & takes less than 5 mins to be on the massive beach. When not out & about itâs just so mesmerising to just sit in the lounge & stare at the sea. Great care & attention has been given to the presentation of this property & we had a marvellous week there.
