Guests say

Bonnieville is a cosy, well-located cottage in Hunstanton, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and proximity to the beach and town centre. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly environment, private parking, and well-equipped kitchen, though some mention the absence of an oven and a small fridge. The property is ideal for couples or small families, with a lovely conservatory and outdoor space. Occasional minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, guests enjoy a pleasant and convenient stay, with thoughtful touches such as Easter eggs sometimes provided.

Most guests found the property very clean and tidy, with only rare mentions of needing to rewash some kitchen items. The overall impression is of a well-maintained and hygienic environment.

The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with easy access to the beach, town, and local amenities, all within walking distance. The quiet setting is also appreciated.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, especially the beds and sofas. Some noted the space is best suited for fewer than five people, and a few mentioned cramped bedrooms or limited seating.

Facilities are good for short stays, with a well-equipped kitchen (hob, microwave, toaster), WiFi, and parking. The lack of an oven and a small fridge/freezer are the main drawbacks, and a few minor maintenance issues (e.g., slow shower, outdoor lighting) were mentioned.

Some guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as Easter eggs, but these are not guaranteed. Communication from the owners is described as helpful and responsive.

Very nice accommodation. As mentioned in other reviews the back yard stones are a little harsh on the dogs feet but ours did still use it when they needed to. The internet is a great speed and worked well (if it doesn’t work when you arrive check the wires are in at the back, we had one unplugged but once it was back in it was fine.) Kids very happy with the bunk beds and slept well. Hanging space in both bedrooms and an organiser in each wardrobe which was useful. Plus the drawers in the main bedroom were empty which meant we managed to put our clothes away for 6 days with a bit of creativity. This was great as other places we have stayed have had drawers and wardrobes full so they weren’t useable. The back yard had a box in with some beach toys which we borrowed for a day at the beach. Kitchen had all the pots and pans you might need, with plenty of cupboard space still available for putting away food which was very helpful. There is a brush, dustpan, small hoover, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and heated towel rail in the bathroom. The towels provided were nice quality and thick. The conservatory got very hot in the sun but closing the door into the chalet when it was sunny kept the rest of the accommodation nice and cool. We have reported via email to the owners that the shower was blocked/draining very slowly when we first arrived. We put the shower hose down the drain and gave it a blast and that solved the problem for us - but hopefully the owners will be aware now in case the problem reoccurs. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would be happy to stay again in the future.

This place was lovely and pretty well appointed for a small bungalow. The furniture was all comfortable and it had been well cleaned before we got there. Unfortunately, the back yard is not dog friendly. It is made of sharp flinty stones which hurt our dogs' paws so they wouldn't go out there after the first time. I would recommend this place if you don't have dogs.

We. had a lovely stay at the chalet. Easy to walk to the beach, and it's dog friendly.Able to walk to the town centre along the promenade.. Having a parking space was a real bonus.Insidei it is well equipped and tidy. Only a couple of niggles, glass & cutlery needed to be washed before being used,it was hard to use the freezer box in the fridge as it's really iced up - needs defrosting, one of the bedside lamps not working, but we did enjoy our stay and would definitely return.
