About this property

Resting in a sought-after area, within the coastal town of Hunstanton, Norfolk, is Litcham House, a fabulous, four-bedroom home. Enjoying sea glimpses from the front, and a proximity near a host of amenities, attractions, and the Norfolk Coast AONB, Litcham House offers a wonderful base for a family break, inviting up to eight guests. Park up on the roadside before travelling through the enclosed front garden, and into the home. Be welcomed by a light hallway, before heading into the welcoming sitting room, complete with plush seating, a characterful, ornamental fireplace, and a TV. Continue through to the sleek kitchen/diner, well-equipped to ease your self-catered stay, where you can rustle up and enjoy meals as a family.

If you'd prefer an alfresco affair, venture into the enclosed rear garden, featuring a decked area and furniture. When sleep calls, select between four well-appointed bedrooms, including a spacious king-size, a double with TV, and a single with trundle on the first floor, whilst the ground floor houses a handy king-size bedroom, with views out to the garden. The home is complete with a bathroom and a convenient first-floor cloakroom, to ease the morning queues. Awaken to explore your surroundings on foot, stocking up on the essentials at the nearby convenience store, or dining out at a hub of restaurants and cafés, including Salad Bowl Cafe, Cafe Legge, and Joe's Family Restaurant, all set near the stunning shoreline.

Enjoy strolls along the promenade with a bag of fish and chips in hand, or entertain the entire family at SEA LIFE Hunstanton or the beach, whilst Hunstanton Golf Club is nearby, recommended for avid golfers, or why not enjoy a hike through the RSPB Snettisham nature reserve? Travelling south, stop off at Dersingham Bog for further wildlife spotting, or tour the grand grounds of Sandringham Estate and pretty gardens, before experiencing the delights of King's Lynn; popular attractions include the Lynn Museum, the Stories of Lynn - Museum and Old Gaol Cells, a host of events available at the Corn Exchange Theatre and Cinema, and leisurely afternoons alongside River Great Ouse.

Experience all of this at Litcham House.

On the western side of the East Norfolk Coastline is the award-winning seaside community of Hunstanton, also known as Sunny Hunny, which is recognised for its breath-taking ocean sunsets. Hunstanton is a wonderful vacation spot for families. The seashore with promenade includes bowling, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade Gardens, theatre, clean, sandy beaches, donkey rides, and sea tours in an amphibious vessel in addition to rock and candyfloss booths, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowling, golfing, and bowling. Many events are hosted throughout the year in the town, and on Sunday afternoons a band frequently plays at the bandstand on the green next to the beach, serenading visitors and sunbathers.

Also only 5 chairs and we were 8 guests. Same applied to mugs, only 4 mugs for 8 people! It would have been helpful to have an information booklet on the property, recycling etc, as initially we could not find any cutlery, which was in a hidden drawer. Also tin opener would have been useful. There was also a mix up with the booking which spoilt and shortened our penultimate day when we were informed wrongly that it was our last day.
