Nestled within the much sought-after seaside village of Thornham, these two farm workers’ cottages (UK11930 and UK11931) have been newly and lovingly renovated in 2022, and furnished and decorated by the owner to provide spacious accommodation for guests who are looking for something special for their holiday. Each property has a wood burner and a sun deck, making these cottages a great choice all year round. They can be booked together, and with this in mind, one of the cottages has a more spacious living room and the other a larger dining area, making it easy to socialise together after a day out exploring the area.
Heading east from here, you will find a string of beautiful coastal villages, all with a great beach habitat including sandy stretches, salt marshes and picturesque quays. Make time to visit Wells-next-the-Sea, with its colourful beach huts, and stop off on the way at one of the many great places to eat. Head west for a change of pace and enjoy all the fun of the fair at Hunstanton with its famous striped cliff faces. Hunstanton is also the only place in Norfolk you can see the sun setting, since usually this coastline is all about the beautiful sunrises. There are two great golf course nearby, multiple bird watching, walking and cycling opportunities and, of course, the Sandringham and Holkham Hall Estates to be explored too. And, after a busy day’s sightseeing, just to retire to these gorgeous cottages is a treat in itself. Beach ½ mile. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Beautifully presented and spacious cottage in a fantastic location for both exploring the local amenities and walking in Thornham but also venturing along the coast if you wish to. Cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped with a fantastic fully enclosed garden our dog loved! Thoroughly recommend and have already rebooked to return!

The cottage was amazing but there was confusion over which cottage we had booked. Please make it clearer on ALL booking emails which number and name of cottage is booked as we kept seeing "2 hall lane" on the emails so thought we were cottage number 2 and we were wrong and had to move cottages 30 mins after arrival.Please refer to cottage as no. 1 or sea lavender more frequenyly.
