The Sedgeford Hall offers a stunning and spacious setting, perfect for large family gatherings and special occasions. Guests consistently praise its character, beautiful grounds, and the impressive indoor pool. The property is well-maintained, with elegant furnishings and thoughtful touches that make for a memorable stay. While communication with management and some kitchen instructions could be improved, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with guests enjoying the peaceful location, lovely walks, and the unique charm of the house.
Multiple guests noted the property was spotlessly clean and well-prepared on arrival, with no negative comments about cleanliness.
The secluded, peaceful setting and proximity to Hunstanton and the Norfolk coast were highly appreciated. Some mention of restricted walks during shooting season, but this did not detract significantly from the overall experience.
Guests found the house spacious and comfortable for large groups, with beautifully furnished rooms. A minor note was made about the kitchen being warm and a suggestion to bring extra fans in hot weather.
The indoor pool, gardens, and estate walks were frequently praised. Some guests mentioned a need for better kitchen instructions and more insect zappers, and there was an issue with emergency contact communication.
Guests appreciated welcome baskets with fruit, biscuits, and drinks, as well as the attention to detail in preparation. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stay at Sedgeford Hall – perfect for large groupsWe have just returned from a fantastic 3-night stay at Sedgeford Hall and genuinely could not have asked for a better place for our group. We were 9 adults and 4 children, made up of four couples (three with children) plus one single guest. The trip was particularly special as the five men in the group have all been friends for over 30 years, so this was a wonderful opportunity to get everyone together – lifelong friends, partners and children – and make some memories. The house was absolutely perfect for a larger group. There was plenty of space for everyone, both inside and out, and we honestly never found ourselves bored. We made full use of the indoor swimming pool, which was a huge hit with both the children and adults. The snooker table gave us hours of entertainment and became the centre of some very competitive games! We also spent time outside playing rounders in the garden beyond the pond, which was brilliant for getting everyone involved.Food and time together were a huge part of the trip. We cooked meals using the AGA, enjoyed a BBQ, and sat together around the large dining table, sharing meals and spending proper quality time together. The evenings were equally memorable – sitting around the fire pit outside, then moving indoors to relax in the lounge with the fire lit, playing games and chatting late into the evening. The house had such a warm, cosy atmosphere. One thing we also loved was discovering the pianos, which the children especially enjoyed spending time around and added another lovely touch to the house. The property itself was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The location was ideal too, with supermarkets and beaches nearby, making it easy to explore while still spending most of our time enjoying the house and grounds.Sedgeford Hall gave us the perfect setting for a very special trip bringing together a friendship group that spans decades and now includes partners and children. We left with lots of memories, plenty of laughs and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a large group getaway. We would happily return.

Booked for a family celebration for 11 of us. Beautiful house, full of character in a secluded and quiet location. There was plenty of space for all of us and some beautiful walks around the estate. One thing to be aware of is there are several weekends during the shooting season when there is shooting on the estate and you are restricted where you can walk. We were lucky enough to go on a non-shooting weekend. The pool was beautiful and was a great bonus for everyone. Would definitely recommend for family gatherings.

We’re already looking forward to coming back!
