The kitchen really does have everything you need and has been equipped to a very high standard and there is also a lovely, enclosed garden to enjoy too. The addition of a multi-fuel burner in the living room makes this property the perfect choice whatever the season.
Beach lovers should head to Heacham’s wide, sandy beach and explore the rolling sand dunes. Enjoy blustery beach walks and wild swimming. Or if the sun is shining build some sandcastles, paddle or top up that tan. Heacham beach is just perfect for all of this and is considered by locals to be one of the best in the area.
Drive east from here and you will discover a treasure trove of coastal habitats from stripy cliffs to pretty little creeks and harbours, and from salt and clay marshes to picturesque quays, with boats bobbing on the tide. It is all here waiting for you to come and discover it.
Of course, the area is simply packed with historical sites too. Visit Castle Acre or Castle Rising, make time to take in the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and head to the Houghton, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, maybe enjoying one of their many events and exhibitions. There is so much wildlife in the area too there are great rspb sites in the area including Titchwell and Snettisham Marshes, which are both within easy reach. Add in some great golf courses, wonderful walks and super cycle routes too and you’ll soon discover why so many people fall in love with this incredible area. And having worked up a great appetite you will be delighted to find that there are lots of great eating out options to suit all tastes and pockets. All in all, a fabulous choice for your break. This is a beautiful cottage, warm and very comfortable and really well renovated. The kitchen has everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. Both the bathroom and shower room are modern, clean and the shower is lovely with large thick bath sheets . There is plenty of outdoor space and it’s easy to park the car in front of the house. The welcome tray is very generous for both humans and dogs! There are dog bowls and towels provided. We found it easy to take walks without moving the car but the normal tourist spots are easily accessible from Heacham.

A really lovely cottage, very cosy & in a great village location. We had 3 adults and 1 x 18 month old and found the cottage to be comfortable, warm, cosy and with everything you could need. We will definitely be stopping again. The only thing to mention is due to the steep stairs we took an extra baby gate to put up whilst we there at the entrance to our bedroom but there was a really good baby gate at the bottom of the stairs which stopped our little one crawling up. A lovely stay, would highly recommend. x

Lovely cottage well situated to access local shops, restaurants and the beach. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could need for a home away from home experience!
