About this property

Nestled on the fringe of Cromer in Norfolk rests this flint-fronted holiday home, Rose Cottage. Just a short drive will lead you to the sweeping sandy beach and a selection of eateries if you fancy a break from cooking. Bring along your family or friends for a coastal escape to remember! Upon arrival, be greeted by two off-road parking spaces on the drive, where you can move your luggage inside with ease. Admire the enclosed front garden, offering seating to bask in the sun, where you can enjoy dining alfresco. Step inside to the small conservatory at the side of the home, here you can leave your sandy shoes and jackets. Discover the rustic kitchen/diner, supplying all the essentials for a self-catered stay, including an oven and hob, microwave, and all-important dishwasher. Settle down at the dining table to enjoy home-cooked meals together and toast to your getaway. Moving through the property, find the sitting room with its corner sofa to snuggle up on in front of the Smart TV as the crackling woodburning stove heats the space. Adjoining the sitting room is a snug, which also benefits from the woodburning stove, why not escape the group to read a good book on the sofa bed? As the evening draws to a close, climb up the stairs to reach the first floor where you will find a bathroom; enjoy an indulgent soak in the tub or rinse the sand away in the walk-in shower. There are two well-presented bedrooms to choose from, a large double room with a trundle bed and another double, both providing storage space for personal belongings. In the morning, enjoy a cup of tea in the kitchen/diner as you create a plan of action for the day ahead. Jump in the car and take a scenic journey into the heart of Cromer for a refreshing walk on the Blue Flag beach, popular for surfing, and enjoy an ice-cream on the pier, which is a great spot for crab watching. There is Amazona Zoo for animal-lovers, home to South American wildlife or budding historians can explore Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate to marvel at the Georgian architecture. Why not make the most of your coastal location and head to Mundesley, a Victorian village, away from the hustle and bustle; here you can soak in the scenery at the beach or bring along your clubs for the nine-hole golf course. Also within easy reach is the town of Sheringham, home to a boating lake, appealing to both adults and children and there are a cluster of restaurants to fuel your excursions. For memories you will cherish, choose a stay at Rose Cottage. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1129759 together sleeping up to eight guests.

Cromer, a prominent North Norfolk beach town, is noted for its lovely clifftop promenade, which features charming, colourful gardens and seating spaces that are best positioned to take in the beautiful views of the sea. The cottage is spotless. The beds are very comfy. It was lovely to be back in Norfolk again. We visited Cromer, sherringham, Yarmouth, Holt and numerous other fabulous places. Some reviews had mentioned the size of the fridge. For us it kept the beer and wine chilled and saved us from over buying food to waste. This cottage was perfect for us and 3 dogs and we will definitely be back. Thank you Mr @ Mrs Cox we had a great time x

also was not made aware of the busy road out side the property

It was easy to find on arrival and was near places to visit. If we go back there we would use it again, as it was a quiet and relaxing place to stop.
