Set in a quiet residential area, yet close to the wide, sandy beach of West Runton, Sea Glimpse is a much-loved, detached holiday home with everything you need for a relaxing seaside break. It is just a short walk from the beach, with shingle at high tide, but soft sand and an array of rock pools when the tide is out. Less well known than the famous ones of Sheringham and Cromer, it provides a more relaxing setting.
The coastline is littered with pretty seaside towns and villages offering great places where you can eat and shop, as well as having beautiful beaches, marshes and quays. Visit Cromer, with its Edwardian seafront and famous pier, or for a change of pace, head to the Norfolk Broads and hire a day boat or join a cruise.
West Runton itself has a shire horse centre, and close by you will also find Amazonia Zoo, several museums, the Thursford Collection (collection of steam engines, organs and fairground attractions), the Mucklebugh Collection (a military museum), numerous National Trust properties and stately homes, not to mention walks and cycle routes galore, and lots of bird watching opportunities. In fact, there’s so much to do, you’re sure to book Sea Glimpse again so you can come back and fit it all in. Beach 800 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Really enjoyed our week at Sea Glimpse. Felt like home. Lovely peaceful location and beautiful walks on the doorstep. Close to West Runton train station.House was very spacious for four adults with an upstairs bathroom/toilet and a downstairs shower room/toilet.Lovely garden well-maintained and we enjoyed watching the birds.Three televisions and DVDs and board games if the weather was bad.Would be very happy to come again.

This was our second stay at Sea Glimpse - and we'll be back again! Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in West Runton, it offers comfortable accommodation (gorgeous comfy bed) and a beautiful rear garden to enjoy (with a table and chairs). The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the house itself is spacious and well laid out. The owner was very helpful and communications with her were promptly responded to. In the village itself, there's a general stores, a lovely pub (Village Inn), and a tea rooms - and the sea front is walkable from the property, if you're ok with the distance (I managed it, and I'm 66 (but I do walk regularly). There are some lovely walks nearby too - I'd recommend Pretty Corner Woods, which has a small tea rooms nearby (if you like a post-walk treat!), as well as Natural Surroundings (near Holt) - which is a heavenly place if you like wild flowers and woodland!

Another lovely holiday at sea glimpse , location and house first class . I did notice that the mattress in the big bedroom was stained and lacking a mattress protector .
