We would highly recommend The Roost it is a lovely cottage in a very quiet location, tastefully decorated and providing clean and comfortable facilities. Very dog friendly with enclosed gardens for safety and playtime, it provided everything you needed, making it a perfect home from home. Friendly hosts Lisa and Neil and not forgetting Rhona and Maisie their lovely canine companions, who provided local information, directions and local knowledge so your trips could be planned, making your days out more memorable. They also provided lovely extras which were greatly appreciated. Within easy walking distance to the beach, beach cafe, and local pub, where you can eat a very good meal. This was our first trip to Norfolk and we would love to return, the Roost was the perfect holiday.

What more can I say that everyone else hasn't already been said . Hosts as lovely as you can get . Rhona just blew our collie guy away " love at first sight". Accommodation just has everything you could ask for and as for being clean ..you could eat your dinner off the floor. Norfolk is such a fabulous place the roost just makes it even better. We will definitely be back . Wonderful stay would recommend without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Roost which is a beautiful cottage in a peaceful rural setting. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything needed for a self catering holiday plus some welcome items which were much appreciated. The cottage is spotlessly clean and ideal for holidaying with your dog as there is a small secure field opposite the cottage where your dog can exercise safely. There are some lovely walks directly from the cottage and the local pub is also within easy walking distance and offers good food with plenty of outside seating for warm weather. We would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone whatever the time of year (a lovely wood burner to sit around on cosy winter evenings or eating breakfast outside in the enclosed courtyard during the summer months) and would definitely choose this cottage again for a self catering holiday in North Norfolk in the future.
