Cley-next-the-Sea (10 miles) also offers beautiful walks as well as bird watching, while Cromer (3.5 miles) is a classic Victorian seaside resort, with an iconic pier and famous, sweet-tasting crab. The North Norfolk Railway starts at Sheringham, 3 miles away, and you can puff all the way to Holt (9 miles by car) for some retail therapy and a great choice of places to eat and drink.
