About this property

Flawlessly blending the convenience of being located in Wells-next-the-Sea, one of North Norfolk's most popular coastal resorts, with views across luscious green countryside, Sherborne House is situated perfectly to enjoy the best of both worlds. Offering spacious, contemporary and very comfortable living within a five minute stroll from the hub of the town, this hideaway is the perfect base from which to explore all that the area has to offer.

Built in 2014 to very high standards, this attractive brick-built double fronted house sits off the coastal road and, from the front, it enjoys commanding views towards the Holkham Estate across neighbouring paddocks where local ponies spend their days. Set over three floors, the ground floor of the house flows freely around the central entrance hall. The L-shaped kitchen with its adjoining dining area is extremely well-equipped and provides an ambient, sociable space - ideal when preparing a delicious meal. The dining table sits beside french doors that extend the house into the garden on summer days. Lazy lunches beckon when the sun is shining high in a big blue sky. When it's time to chill-out and relax at the end of the day, the sitting room, also with french doors, invites you to take a seat - you are spoilt for choice. Enjoy chatting the night away. Maybe catch up with your favourite series on the large Samsung Frame television that sits above an oak lintel over the fireplace. Here, there's a large wood burning stove, which will keep you extra cosy when the days are shorter and night are cooler. A useful utility room off the kitchen, and a convenient cloakroom in the entrance hallway completes this floor. When the time comes to retire, the three bedrooms on the upper two floors, two king-size and twin, are all beautifully presented with ultra comfortable beds dressed using beautiful Bedfolk linen bedding. Each bedroom has the luxury of an accompanying stylish bathroom, one being an en-suite to the master bedroom. On the top floor, there is a snug area with seating and a second television - just the spot for anyone who wants to watch a different channel, or quietly sit and read.

Outside, the rear enclosed garden is the best place to be on warm, sunny days and balmy evenings. Ignite the barbecue and cook some tasty local produce - you are sure to be tempted by something you've spotted while going out and about on your travels.

Location was great, just far away enough from the hustle and bustle during Carnival week but close enough to still walk into the centre, especially for the older members of the family. A great house for multi-generational holidays. The house was welcoming, very comfortable and we were really impressed with the collection of toys etc. for our 2 year old grandson. We were also impressed with the basic things that had been left such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, kitchen roll and dishcloths - all things that we thought we would need to buy. Plenty of space for us all and great to have outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the garden. The house had everything we needed and we all agreed that we would stay here again. A definite 10/10 from us.

A beautiful house with gorgeous garden, perfect for a relaxing break. Spacious and suitable for a family break. We were lucky with the weather so able to enjoy the outdoor space and BBQ.
