  We've had a fantastic week in this beautiful house, thank you! There's so much to do even without having to leave wells - walking to the beach, crabbing on the harbour, wondering around the shops... Lots of great places to eat too - some how managed to get into The Globe for Sunday dinner without booking, and also enjoyed meals at The Bowling Green Inn (handily around the corner!) and the pigs in Edgefield. Enjoyed the train to Walsingham and a trip to Holkham Hall. The playground was a huge hit! Also loved ice creams from pretty much every outlet in Wells, and the playground behind. Perfect location as we've been able to walk everywhere, and so handy to have the Coop down the road. We love the house too - if you're ever thinking of selling up, let us know! we'd love to come back and hope to make a future booking - will be getting pestered by our children until we do! Thank you!   Great cottage in a brilliant location. Recently enjoyed a stay at The Constable's House. It was in a brilliant location for accessing all the local shops, galleries, cafes, pubs, entertainment, harbour, beach etc. on foot as well as not too far from other places that were well worth a visit by car.The cottage was extremely spacious, cosy, clean and well furnished and equipped with lots of interesting artwork in every room. Special mention must be made of the comfortable beds and lovely bed linen and towels. Quiet location, lovely to hear the birds singing.The welcome pack was a nice touch and the handbook provided contained so much useful information. Alpacas passing the house, being taken for walks was an unusual sight which we really enjoyed!Would highly recommend.

  Thank you for a beautiful property in a wonderful location. Enjoyed drinks at The Globe and meals at The Crown and The Crab House, coffee and cakes at Fenspirits Larder, Little Pasty shop and Wells Gelato. Walks to Holkham and Holkham beach, bus to Morston and walk back via Stiffkey (plus a stop at Stiffkey Stores). Breakfast at Bang! and breakfast and pastries from The Two Magpies. The Nisa supermarket was fine for what we needed as were the butchers and grocers on Staithe Street. Adnams Shop and Norfolk Bottle Shop are good for the beer enthusiast. If you want/need a hat it's worth the short trip to Burnham Market on a wet Tuesday! In summary - no shortage of lovely things to do, places to go and things to see.

  Beautiful house, brilliantly located. Have had the most fantastic week exploring the delights (particularly culinary) of North Norfolk. Love North Norfolk Cellars (the Chandlery) round the corner, Caroline at The Red Lion, Stiffkey is a lovely warm hostess (am amazed this walk is done with toddlers in tow!) The Old Bank bistro in Snettisham is excellent for a celebration dinner (tasting menu). Have enjoyed all the wildlife; the birds, jellyfish on the beach, toad on our walk to Stiffkey. A juvenile black bird flew into the kitchen and got quite stressed trying to find its way out. Wondering if there is a way to mark the glass for birds without spoiling the view? Thanks.

  A lovely place to stay in the heart of Wells. On the Main Street. Comfortable downstairs space and well stocked kitchen. Nice welcome pack. First floor bedroom good size and en suite good shower. Stairs light automatic. We didn’t sleep on the third floor but was nice bedroom with en suite. The stairs are steep but there is a support rope. The decor for the house with exposed beams and a Gladstone bag was really nice and we felt at home. We had drinks out in most of the pubs and ate out locally all good. Lovely local beaches and coastal walks around the area. Great place to stay to explore the area.
