Stroll to the beach at Wells & along to the highly commended Holkham Beach (awarded Best Beach in Britain) and discover the famous beach huts parading themselves in such a fabulous location! Or, just meander through the pretty Georgian streets, browsing the bazaars, stocking up on old fashioned sweets, sample sumptuous goodies from the local deli’s or simple traditional fayre at one of the many cafes or local inn’s. A visit to Wells wouldn’t be complete without trying your luck at a spot of crabbing on the quayside. Or simply relaxing & watching the world go by whilst sampling the best in local fish & chip cuisine. Bicycle hire is available on the quayside. Great local pubs include The Crown Inn also The Globe and The Victoria, both of which are owned and run by the Holkham Estate. The Holkham Estate surrounded with acres of beautiful parkland is less than a mile away.
