Well, there's WOW and then there's ultra WOW, and this fabulous new hideaway most definitely falls into the latter camp. With stunning interiors, and the most sublime views of Wells harbour and the sea at full tide, Wentworth Retreat is going to be on everyone's holiday wish list.

A full refurbishment of this three storey harbour house took place in 2021 and no stone was left unturned. Luxurious from top to bottom, with high end fixtures and fittings throughout and all brought together with creative, colourful and thoughtful styling. Just a one-minute walk away from the Quay, the hub of this seaside town, and with the availability of private parking too, this beautiful house has everything that visitors to this uber popular seaside Norfolk resort really, really want - here you have it all. On the ground floor, the living is L-shaped and open-plan, with a snug seating area with dual aspect views of the harbour and sea. To the other side of this spacious room is a fabulous top spec kitchen and dining area, with a television and gas effect wood burning stove, and views of the sea, which looks absolutely spectacular at high tide. Even the cloakroom, with off black decor, is worth a visit just for its glamorous vibe. Up the stairs on the first floor is the main sitting room, a large triple aspect room with views to die for all around, again with a gas effect wood burning stove available to warm the room, while you sit and gaze at the view. On this floor is the striking master bedroom, with an interrupted coastal view you can enjoy from the bed with your morning cup of tea. The adjoining bathroom is glamour personified and worthy of a film star. From the first floor landing a door opens to a south facing small decked terrace, somewhere quiet to sit and enjoy the sun. Taking the second set of stairs up to the top floor leads you to three further bedrooms (two king-size and a double), all with a variety of sea views, and a second sumptuous bathroom with large walk-in shower as well as a large freestanding bath tub. Outside, across the entrance courtyard, is a utility room with laundry area and a shower room off - ideal for when you return from the beach to shower down and put your beach towels on to wash.

Wentworth Retreat is the place to be, if you want somewhere fabulous to stay, and have the convenience of being just a short walk away from everything this picturesque seaside town, loved by visitors of all ages, has to offer. If you want a gloriously beautiful sandy beach that stretches for miles and miles; maybe book one of the photogenic candy coloured beach huts; or just enjoy taking a seat to watch the world go by, and the fishing boats come and go on the buzzing quayside; try your hand at crabbing and taste some of the freshest fish and chips and seafood around. Take a leisurely meander on Staithe Street browsing the independent shops and cafes that run from top to bottom, and maybe call into the Maltings Arts Centre to see the latest pop-up art exhibition, as well as a video history of the town, and take the chance to book a ticket for a film or theatre show while you are there. Walkers and cyclists will love exploring the coastal path and can stretch their legs a little further and visit nearby Holkham Hall with its beautiful deer park and lake. If you have the time and inclination to venture even further afield, step aboard the Coasthopper and let it take you there, taking in the beautiful scenery as you go.
