We loved staying at Archie’s Barn… We felt it was a very special place to ‘get away from it all’. Such a comfortable place to stay and we really enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the windows- deer, hares, rabbits, the resident owls and lots of other birds.

We have had a great week at Archie’s barn. We loved being in such an isolated place being able to watch the wildlife and some pretty spectacular sunsets. The house is well equipped and comfortable - we had everything we needed. A dining table to be able to seat all 7 of us would have been better for family meals - the kids ended up eating at the kitchen island with 5 adults sitting at the table. Even then there was still little space to have anything on the table other than plates. This is a minor point and the table outside worked for us better but we were fortunate to have glorious weather, not sure what families would do if couldn’t use outside. We managed to have a Tesco delivery despite the location which was goodOverall a fabulous week
