About this property

Located near the stunning Norfolk venue of Oxnead Hall and surrounded by glorious countryside, this single storey barn is also less than 3 miles from the popular market town of Aylsham, an unspoilt town consisting of cobbled streets and narrow alleys offering an array of shops, restaurants, and a twice weekly market. The farm's boundary is the River Bure which gives you the opportunity for paddleboarding and canoeing just down the road. The traditional seaside resort of Cromer (13 miles) has a sandy beach and a fabulous pier home to the Pavilion Theatre which has various shows throughout the year. You ll also find an excellent range of independent cafes, pubs, and restaurants, many of which allow diners to enjoy freshly caught seafood. The historic cathedral city of Norwich is just 15 miles away, whilst 125 miles of beautiful, lock free waterways that make up the famous Norfolk Broads which can be explored by hiring a boat at nearby Wroxham is just 9 miles away. You enter this gorgeous barn conversion (newly renovated in 2022) and find it set all on one floor which features the living space in the middle and a bedroom at each end. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped offering you a real home away from home feel boasting everything the chef of the group needs to prepare a meal for any occasion including an oven, electric hob, microwave, fried with ice box, dishwasher and a washing machine. The dining area is just off the kitchen and has enough seating for 4 guests. The living area is a comfortable space to all gather around the Smart TV and watch your favourite show or a good film. The master bedroom has a king size zip and link bed (which can be made as a twin on request) along with ample storage space for your clothes and personal items, a Smart TV and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom two has a king size bed, ample storage space, a Smart TV and access to a family bathroom located just next to the bedroom. Outside, you have a lovely, large, enclosed garden and gravel area complete with countryside views and garden furniture for those who wish to indulge in some evening cocktails and dine alfresco whilst the sun goes down. During the month of April there will be an opportunity for guests to watch lambing in progress.
