We had an overall lovely week at Bridge End and the space and location were second to none. A couple of things I wish I’d known; there’s no WiFi and there’s limited signal (no Vodafone, EE ‘ok’). We spent over £100 buying a portable WiFi set up as had teens with us. The electricity is expensive - a week cost us about £40 but it is helpful that Shiela had the £1 coins so you just need cash rather than coins. The kitchen is dated & small but functional as long as you’re not planning lots of cooking. The tv is also really basic. No Netflix or anything and there’s no remote for the dvd player so we couldn’t always get the movies to play. Having said that, the sitting room and dining areas are lovely and comfortable and despite old storage heaters, we were almost too hot this week! So it’s a warm and cosy. Gary was absolutely fantastic with the boat and storing fishing rods for us. Overall we had a great week, the grounds are stunning, proximity to beach amazing etc, just a few elements to this rental are out of date but we would definitely return.

A heavenly place to stay, where you can row past herons and swans nests at the bottom of the garden. Walking distance from divine beaches with seals and a miriad of places to drive to. Didnt realise there werent towels, otherwise perfect. Parricularly liked the living room recliners after an active day.
