Long weekend away with mobiles turned offQuiet peaceful location with all you need. Cutlery, crockery and pans in fully working kitchen. Smart TV, dvd player and a large selection of dvds.Tesco close by but transport is needed.I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet weekend away.Just clocked it is dog friendly. I had no idea as there were no tell tale signs. It did not smell like some dog friendly places do.We would definitely book again

what a brilliant little cottage situated in a quiet village. great dog walking around the RSPB reserve and the local pubs are very close. Bus stop is handy and the Vineyard was an added bonus. Alex and Tony are fab hoasts and full of local knowledge. 40min drive to the beach and Norwich is in your doorstep, even walkable along the Wherrymans Way.

Church barn studio is a lovely cottage. Quite a spacious living area. The owners are lovely, there if you need them & their dog Bluebell is so friendly. Surlingham is a quiet little village, there is a vineyard almost next door to the cottage, a lovely pub(The Ferry Inn) on the broad (that you can walk to), a local church, Ted Ellis nature reserve where we walked in the woods & spotted 3 deers, Yare Farm shop & Teles Cafe/Patisserie next door. Lots of places to visit within a half hour drive such as Wroxham, Potter Heigham, Great Yarmouth and Horning. We also visited Caister-on-Sea. It's a beautiful area & we would definitely return to see more of the Norfolk Broads.
