My family and I had a wonderful stay at old buckenham country park. We had a 2 year old and dog just for context. The lodge was beautifully clean and smelt lovely when we walked in. It was a good size plenty of room for my little one to play and our greyhound to chill on his bed. The kitchen was well equipped we cooked in the lodge each day as the cafe wasn't open (we knew this before we went and it was no bother) the play park was fab for our daughter, she needed some help but loved it. We also loved the hot tub which is emptied and cleaned out after each stay (this was a huge bonus as we have stayed at some places that dont do this) we saw lots of wildlife on the park too. There is a lovely pub not too far away that serves good food and a lovely place for a drink. The only minor things to note, there is no freezer compartment in the fridge (no huge bother for us but good to know prior to going) we also took a headlamp and torch to walk the dog at nighttime which I had seen recommended on another review so always useful to know.We liked it so much we have booked to go again later in the year!
