Guests generally appreciate the Country Lodge VIP for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and peaceful environment. The hot tub is a highlight, contributing to a relaxing stay. The lodge's location is convenient for exploring Norwich and the surrounding areas. Staff are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. Some minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities are noted, but overall, guests have had enjoyable stays and many would recommend the property.
The lodge receives high praise for cleanliness, with several reviews mentioning it being nice and clean. One minor complaint about grubby drinking glasses does not significantly detract from the overall positive perception of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to Norwich, making it a good base for exploring. However, some guests mention the lack of lighting at night and the presence of potholes on the access road.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of comfy beds and a warm lodge. Criticisms include creaky beds, a worn sofa, and lack of insulation leading to noise issues. Despite this, the overall sentiment towards comfort is positive.
Facilities like the hot tub are appreciated, but there are several comments about maintenance issues such as loose bed joints and a broken toilet brush. The lack of outdoor lighting and towel hooks also suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While guests find the lodge and its offerings to be thoughtful, such as the provision of night time books and a Christmas tree, there are no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it cannot be confirmed if gifts are a regular occurrence or not.
Perfect for unwinding together, this beautifully designed lodge is a haven of peace and comfort for couples or families. With elegant décor and thoughtful touches, it sleeps up to 4 guests with one double and one twin bedroom.
The open-plan living area is fresh, airy, and contemporary, with a cosy seating space and a large flatscreen Smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, and with the dining table set in the kitchen area, it’s ideal for spending time together and entertaining.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and basin. Designed with relaxation in mind, the lodge also features a welcoming outdoor decked and grassed area with garden furniture, the perfect spot to unwind. The real highlight, however, is the bubbling outdoor hot tub, adding that special touch to your stay.

The perfect place to unwind! The lodge was incredibly spacious and kept at a lovely, warm temperature throughout our stay. The Christmas tree was a wonderful touch and made the space feel beautifully homely.
