Located 350 yards from the sand dunes and glorious sandy beach close to both the Norfolk Broads and Great Yarmouth Sea Palling has a wonderful sandy beach backed with sand dunes, perfect for picnics, and plenty of open areas for walking and letting the dogs run freely. The village shop is just a few yards away and the village also has a local fish shop, café, and a pub with music (seasonal) with food served all day. It also has an amusement arcade, a children’s playground, and a water sports shop, where you can hire water sports equipment. The beach is popular for sightings of local seal colonies, has a lifeguard (seasonal) and there are boat launching facilities. This beautiful cottage has been completely renovated and makes a wonderful base for a seaside holiday. The living room boasts a wood burner to cosy up to on those cooler nights. It enjoys a lovely enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining at the rear of the property. Please note: guests will need to bring their own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine.
The famous Norfolk Broads, a haven for birds and wildlife, is just a short drive away. The expanse of the waterway is best explored by daily boat and river trips. Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Broads, has waterside restaurants, cafés, shops, and pubs. Take a ride on the miniature Bure Valley steam gauge railway and enjoy a trip to the pretty market town of Aylsham. Wroxham train station offers railway trips to the seaside and the city of Norwich. The city of Norwich, 19 miles away, has excellent shopping, with two indoor malls, a market square, a theatre, cinema complexes, a cathedral, and a castle museum, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafés to enjoy. The area is criss-crossed with many trails and paths to enjoy. Further along the coastal path takes you to the seaside resort of Winterton-on-Sea. The traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth, 16 miles, Cromer, 22 miles, and Sheringham, 26 miles, offer an array of seaside fun and town centres with shops, cafés, and restaurants. Beach 350 yards. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 340 yards.

A lovely cottage in a good location. Perhaps a hose in the garden to rinse off the dog but otherwise an excellent property . Very good facilities.

On arrival cottage seemed acceptable, but during our stay we noticed things that were not very good, garden was not dog friendly the dog from the cottage on our left got into the garden of Daisy cottage. The radiator in the bathroom did not work so the bathroom was very cold. There is a lot of unnecessary items in the kitchen which take up too much work top. parking space outside is tiny. Scatter cushions on sofa were far from clean. Plus point, the beds were very comfortable.

Lovely cottage, clean and comfortable. Stairs very steep and narrow ! Bedrooms were nicely furnished and cosy. Not much in the way of local amenities- village shop, couple of fast food places and 1 pub which didn't serve food. Walking distance to a beautiful beach which was what we wanted. Would recommend for a quiet and tranquil holiday.
