Set within a sought-after and well-maintained traditional chalet park, Driftwood offers a warm seaside welcome with décor and finishing touches that will immediately say “Relax, you’re on holiday.” Just a very short walk from wide, sandy Mundesley beach, which is a firm favourite with the locals, you are sure to fall in love with both the property and this location.
With a coastline offering diverse habitats, from rolling sand dunes to picturesque quays, beach lovers will have lots to choose from, and if all that sea air works up an appetite you will be delighted to find lots of great places to eat locally, many of which are in Mundesley itself. In fact, if you fancy a break from driving you can take the coast hopper bus all the way along the coast to Hunstanton with lots of great stop offs on the way including Cromer with its famous pier and Wells-next-the-Sea with its much-photographed quay. The Norfolk Broads are also an easy drive away, making this location perfect for those wishing to see all the highlights that this beautiful county has to offer. Families will enjoy visits to Cromer with its traditional seaside amusements and famous pier along with Bewilderwood and Amazonia Zoo.
History buffs will not be disappointed either with the Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates, the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections and numerous local museums all waiting to be explored in lovely Norfolk. A great getaway location some may not like the stroll to the local shops or pub as there’s no facilities on site but that doesn’t distract from the little gem that is Driftwood.You can see from the star rating it exceeds all expectations and is a credit to the owner, the only downside is we couldn’t stay longer as the days flew by !

Driftwood had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hot cross buns and chocolate eggs were very welcome, thank you. It has a couple of good heaters and plenty of fleecy blankets for the chilly evenings and the electric blanket on the bed was a lovely surprise. The site is quiet and has easy access to the village and their very very popular chip shop (I would suggest going before you get hungry as the locals obviously use it as well as tourists and it was very busy - but worth it) however, despite good directions on how to find the chalet when getting to the site, a sign showing where the manager's office is would be a good idea as it isn't obvious and we were told to turn left when we got to it but ended up driving round the site a couple of times until we eventually found out how to get to the chalet. We would book this accommodation again as it is in a good location for getting to Cromer and Sheringham.
