Tucked neatly behind the sand dunes and just yards from the glorious sandy beach at Sea Palling, this delightful single-storey, terraced holiday property has been completely renovated and makes a wonderful base for a seaside holiday. It enjoys extensive countryside views to the front of the property. Winterton’s circular walks and nature reserve, and fishing, boat trips and boat hire on the beautiful Norfolk Broads are all just a few miles away. Visit the grey seal colony and their pups at Horsey Gap Beach (between November - February). For children there is the treetop adventure park of Bewilderwood at Horning, and family fun time at Great Yarmouth. Alternatively, visit the fine city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, museums, theatres and shopping. Walking, sailing, fishing, birdwatching and cycle hire all available locally. The owner offers a full laundry service to guests at a charge. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile. This property can be booked together with UK32108 to accommodate upto 4 guests.

It has been a pleasure staying at Field Crest for the last two weeks. We have thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, as well as exploring the many beautiful towns and villages around Norfolk.The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed walking over the sand dunes and along the beach to Sea Palling.My parents spent their honeymoon in Sheringham in 1975, so it was lovely to visit, take some photographs, and send them to my mum to show her just how much it has changed over the years.We would definitely recommend Field Crest to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful part of Norfolk.The only thing that let our stay down was the behaviour of the people staying in the neighbouring cottage. Unfortunately, they showed little consideration for other guests by parking wherever they wished, walking through areas without regard for others, and allowing their dogs to roam freely. They also never seemed to acknowledge or greet fellow guests. While this is, of course, beyond the owners' control, it did detract slightly from an otherwise wonderful holiday.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

In general the place was good, I would have liked a sofa that was higher and more comfy., but we only sat on one of two. Also the bed was a bit noise it creaked when sat on edge and not the most comfortable but had a lot worse. The bathroom window Handel needs a screw driver on it before it falls off, ( I did mean to text that to Brian ?) we were very pleased and on the whole happy with our stay.Barry
