We had a good time at Iris cottage our stay was comfortable. The owners Peter and Ann made us very welcome and there was homemade cake waiting for us on our arrival, we had a problem with our car while we were there and peters knowledge of the area and the garage he used and recommended, we phoned the garage and they were brilliant . Everybody was so helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.Thank you Peter and Ann. Best wishes from Paul and Bev

The apartment is cosy and warm. Great views across the field to the rear, many trees to the front so not too much to see. There are a couple of marinas that you drive past to and from the A149. The town is an easy 25 minute walk, two pubs, an Indian restaurant and 3 Chinese takeaways, plus a Tesco store with a fuel station attached. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. One thing to mention, which I have seen on previous reviews is the access road. As long as you are not in a hurry, it’s not a problem. Half of it is tarmac, but uneven, the other half is pretty much a farm track.
