Located on the North Norfolk coastline, just a short walk from the amazing sandy beach at Bacton, this end of terrace single storey chalet is located on a private park, it has a lovely wraparound decked verandah with outdoor furniture offering a great opportunity to simply sit back, relax and enjoy the ambience. There is a private entrance to the excellent sandy beach and a large communal grass meadow, to provide plenty of space for family fun. The chalet offers open plan accommodation, furnished and equipped to offer a very good standard, with comfy sofas and beds to fully relax and rewind.
The village of Bacton offers a children’s play area, lovely walks, two pubs with restaurants, fish and chip shops, cafés and an ice cream parlour. Bacton Woods is also a great place for a picnic and dog walking trails. The traditional seaside resorts of Cromer, 13 miles, and Sheringham, 17 miles, provide a great day out for all the family. Sea fishing is available at Bacton beach, so be sure to bring your sea fishing rod. Wroxham, 13 miles and known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, has many riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. The waterways are best explored by boat and are rich in birdlife and wildlife. Daily river trips and boat hire is available. Bewilderwood at Horning is an outdoor adventure park, a perfect place for children to burn off some energy, and the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade offers both in and outside fun, as well as a splash park on warm days.
Avid gardeners will enjoy The Old Vicarage Gardens at East Runton and National Trust Sheringham Park, and for keen golfers, the Royal Cromer and Mundesley golf courses will not disappoint. Spend a day at Horsey beach where between December and February visitors can enjoy the chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shoreline. Beach 100 yards. Shop and restaurant ¾ mile, pub 1 mile.

We had a very good last minute break here, which didn’t disappoint.Great location for the beach, only a 5 minute walk away.The accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable. We will be back in the future if available.

My family and puppy had a fantastic time in Bacton. The chalet is beautifully clean, bottle of bubbly and a basket with tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and sweets! Not to mention Tim blankets, bowls and treats for the dog. Very accommodating, Debby the owner is amazing! I had messaged Debby asking where to get birthday cake for my daughter’s birthday from. She rang me to explain, which I thought was lovely. What was an even more special was the fact Debby put Birthday banners up for her. Such a lovely thing to do. Would recommend coming here. Not much to do nearby, but only there for weekend, but the beach is lovely. Restaurants are dog friendly and do lovely food. Amazing all round
