A gem set in the countryside of Norfolk. A very comfortable and warm bungalow that has everything you need for a self catering stay. Its is not too far away from all the attractions. The city of Norwich is only 1/2 hour away. Would highly recommend Poplar cottage if you are planning to explore Norfolk. We spent a week here at Easter and would definitely book it again.

Really lovely, homely place. Jill & James were very friendly amd helpful, easy to communicate with prior and during our stay. They had left our girls pumpkins to carve, which was a lovely touch at it was Halloween week. The Property was clean, very well equipped kitchen, bathroom lovely. Plenty of board games, jigsaws and toys for small children. Helpful leaflets of places to visit.Only thing to mention, which I have made Jill aware of, is the garden isn't totally secure for dogs, we had ours on a lead in the garden but she got out through the hedge onto the road. Jill had spoken to us after we'd arrived to say she wasn't completely sure it was a dog proof garden, I was glad I'd taken a lead for her, although it was scary she got out. Also the welcome pack could of had a but of local produce from the shop in the village in it but that's a small thing.

We had a lovely break in Poplar Bungalow yet again. It is so peaceful and the bungalow has everything you need. James and Jill are lovely, welcoming and very helpful, they fixed a small issue immediately and found us some local information we were looking for. The shop in Lyng (5 minutes drive away) is great and has a cafe and we had an excellent meal at The Fox. The bungalow is ideally situated to get around Norfolk within easy reach of main roads but set in the middle of farmland. We hope to be back again.
