Take a trip on the river or hire a boat at nearby Wroxham, the capital of the Broads. Children will love Petitts Farm in the village or Bewilderwood close-by, a treetop adventure park.
The nearby train station offers easy access to medieval Norwich, with its fine shopping, cathedral, castle, museums and restaurants or Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft In the other direction. Reedcutters holiday home is absolutely fabulous. Everything is clean and tidy. A lovely array of dvds if you don't want to go out, along with many books to borrow. The bedrooms are very nice and the beds are very comfortable. We loved having a bathroom downstairs and upstairs. A perfect home to relax in, a very quiet area. Two pubs serving lovely food very close by, one nearer than the other. Also a lovely tea room and farm shop both serving lovely meals. All in all a very relaxing holiday, with some lovely walks by the river Yar which is just across the road.

the stairs were difficult for anyone with walking problems unfortunately we had two in our party but the cottage was very comfortable and clean
